Water TreatmentTechnologiesIndustry Specialities
Taking care of our environment can be a satisfying task that requires everyone's involvement. The world's supply of fresh water is one of our greatest commodities. But there are costs that go along with protecting our limited water source. We at AQUATECH-USA.com believe this is important, and we want to help others avoid illegally discharging wastewater back into our fresh water supply while keeping operating costs down and avoiding fines. Being "GREEN" is something we keep near and dear at AQUATECH-USA.com, and we also understand the concern when ever-changing local, state or federal mandates suddenly require us all to make investments to meet their regulations. Being a small, family-owned business in New Jersey, we know this is a very sensitive issue, and we have solutions for becoming compliant and "GREEN". AQUATECH-USA.com understands washwater and wastewater generated from your business, and is here to help when you call upon us. AQUATECH-USA.com uses cutting-edge technologies and has solutions for the treatment of washwater and industrial wastewater, and we can consult with your representatives for the concept, design, installation, and maintenance of a water treatment system so you can become compliant with water protection regulations. From start to finish, depending on what your needs are, AQUATECH-USA.com will be there throughout all of these steps. In fact, AQUATECH-USA.com offers total turnkey operations, in which we can recommend and supply planners, architects, designers and contractors right from the concept stage. We will get your system up and running and compliant with water protection regulations and continue to maintain your system to your satisfaction. In order to best understand your needs, we suggest a free site evaluation. We will determine what kinds of wastewater you'll need to treat, and what kind of treatment system will provide the best solution. We are experts with respect to this detailed process of treating wastewater generated from washing vehicles, heavy equipment, parts washing, golf course maintenance, the marina industry, public works facilities, or wastewater from all types of business sectors. We can help you understand our technology and provide you with the water treatment system you need - whether you decide to recycle or discharge through the means of filtration, electrocoagulation, mechanical separation or bioremediation techniques (or a combination of several of these techniques) to remove the harmful contaminents from your wastewater. The process of treating and recycling water, or treating the water for discharge into a sanitary sewer system, is considered "new territory" perhaps by the public, but not for AQUATECH-USA.com - who is at the forefront of this important field of environmental responsibility. To become "GREEN" in this sense, and compliant with new laws enacted for this purpose, may be stressful for those unfamiliar with water treatment. However, AQUATECH-USA.com has expertly installed and serviced many of our water treatment systems to comply with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's strict guidelines, and has helped our customers avoid costly fines. Training our customers to use our technology has always been an integral part of what we do, and now, we will assist you to succeed in becoming "GREEN" - and compliant with these ever-changing laws associated with the field of water treatment. We also offer maintenance contracts as part of our system, whether you decide right up front or at a later time. These maintenance contracts are available so organizations can have their water system operating on a scheduled maintenance program performed by our certified technicians. There are several low-maintenance cost water treatment systems available: Wash Water Recycle Systems; Water Filtration; Bioremediation Systems; Oil/Water Separators; Water Evaporators; Electrocoagulation Units; Water Storage Tanks; Wash Pads; Collection Pits; Reagents; and Ultrafiltration Systems. AQUATECH-USA.com offers a wide variety of these treatment systems, products and brands. Most of these water treatment systems are ETL certified (a North American certification signifying that required water treatment standards and controls are being met); and ISO 9001 approved (a quality-management standard applying to all types of organizations, which is recognized and held in high esteem throughout the world). This will insure you that AQUATECH-USA.com provides the highest quality and most reliable equipment in the industry. Washwater Recycle SystemYou can power wash your vehicles in a wash bay containing a collection basin underneath, and once the wash water is collected, purifying reagents are introduced, and then the cleaner, enviromentally-friendly water is available for reuse - recycled, that is - in order to save money, avoid possible fines, and save an otherwise depleted resource: water. Water Filtration SystemWhen washwater/wastewater is collected, it is directed to a filtration system, and durable, removable, long-lasting filters (designed to remove debris, solvents, soils and some chemicals) go to work to effectively improve water quality. Bioremediation SystemA Bioremediation System uses "microbes" to produce clean water for recycling or discharge. With microbes - tiny organisms that feed on the harmful chemicals in industrial wastewater - bioremediation is achieved naturally and in a cost-effective way. The microbes are introduced into the system, and they go to work to naturally clean the washwater/wastewater. The amount and types of contaminants present in the water will determine how long the process of bioremediation will take. Oil/Water SeparatorAn Oil/Water Separator treats industrial wastewater contaminated with oils, and oil/water separators do so at a flow of various gallons per minute (gpm), depending on the unit. Sometimes the oily wastewater is treated at a rate of as low as 4 gpm or as high as 25 gpm. Oily water is first suctioned into the oil/water separator via a pump, and this wastewater is introduced to a tiered separation process through which the oil is freed up from the water, and allowed to elevate to the surface. Several filtration and separation factors allow eventually clean water to flow out of a discharge line at the bottom of the unit. Water EvaporatorA Water Evaporator can be used by itself or as an accessory to another water treatment system. Instead of discharging wastewater to a sanitary sewer system - or if there is not one available - a water evaporator will "boil off" the water, leaving only residual solids which are then to be disposed of properly. Or if you are recycling some of your wastewater, then a water evaporator can be used to "treat" the remainder. These units are powered by oil, natural gas, or electricity. Water SoftenerThe reduction of dissolved calcium, magnesium, and maganese and ferrous iron ion buildup in hard water is achieved with a water softener. This buildup, if otherwise not reduced, causes detergents to be much less effective, and also causes scale buildup in water heating coils - making it more difficult to heat up water and greatly hindering the heating coil's efficiency. A water softener works by introducing sodium ions to hard water - and these sodium ions replace the calcium and magnesium ions found in the hard water. Electrocoagulation SystemThe Electrocoagulation method can remove several contaminents from water, such as heavy metals, oils and grease, bacteria, viruses, certain solids, and more. Electrocoagulation uses an electrical current to remove contaminants from water. If water is being discharged into a sanitary sewer system, the electrocoagulation method will work to make this water comply with strict laws - and allow your business to avoid costly penalties. Water Storage TanksWe offer durable Water Storage Tanks and Liquid Storage Tanks with capacities ranging from 12-gallons to 15,000 gallons. Many of our customers use these tanks to store water, agricultural chemicals, industrial detergents, and more. Some customers are also interested in trailers on which to mount their storage tanks. These customers, some of who are in the cleaning business themselves, now have a "mobile cleaning unit," complete with a pressure washer and their own water supply in their storage tank. Wash PadsPortable and Stationary Wash Pads are becoming a very important solution to prevent the discharge of contaminated water generated from power washing vehicles and equipment. A Wash Pad is actually essential toward not only remaining "GREEN," but becoming compliant with pollution prevention laws set forth by local, state and federal agencies. A Wash Pad is a flat, square or rectangular section of stainless steel (portable pads can be moved with a forklift) onto which you drive a vehicle or industrial equipment so it can be power washed. This wash pad, which you can request in different sizes based on your needs, has a perforated floor so washwater can drain through it and into a collection area underneath. This washwater is then treated and/or filtered and discharged as cleaned water into a sanitary sewer system; or it is treated and completely recycled, via a wastewater recycling system, for reuse. Collection Pit SystemA Collection Pit will collect washwater runoff from pressure washing your vehicles or equipment. We offer fiberglass collection pits which allow soils and debris from your washwater to settle at the bottom, before any oils are captured as well through a special separation process. The cleaned water is now ready for discharge into a sanitary sewer system, or will be directed to a wastewater recycling system. ReagentsAs you can probably imagine, AQUATECH-USA.com has also created superior liquid reagents for treating and improving the quality of wastewater. We, of course, have been offering these products hand in hand with our wastewater recycling systems. "PH Plus" is used to increase the pH level of wastewater/washwater being treated in a wastewater recycling system, while "PH Minus" reduces the pH level in wastewater. These non-corrosive reagents are used regularly by our customers who own wastewater recycle systems. In addition to these products, we offer "Oxipower," which is an oxidizing agent used to greatly reduce odor in wastewater, and also "Coagulant," for use as a water and wastewater treatment coagulant/flocculant, which can allow for sediment to be removed more easily from wastewater. As these products become more important in the industry, some are realizing that we at AQUATECH-USA.com have been leading the pack by making them readily available for years. Ultrafiltration SystemsUltrafiltration is a process which will remove emulsified oils from industrial wastewater by using a special "membrane" filter. While other wastewater treatment methods cannot always remove these emulsified oils, a membrane filter such as the kind used in Ultrafiltration can do so. Some oils can float to the surface of wastewater after a short period of time, thereby making the separation process easy in order to clean up the wastewater. The emulsified oils, however, are normally difficult to remove from wastewater. This is because they are attached to water molecules possibly by way of detergents present in the wastewater, or by way of an electrical charge, both of which can which bind the oil to water molecules. Ultrafiltration conquers this problem by allowing for effective separation of the emulsified oils from wastewater. |
